SUBREAL SUBCONSCIOUS

Portraits of Ourselves

From the interplay of my mind and the brushstrokes I apply to the canvas,
my consciousness discovers, extracts and refines beings in conflict who interact, argue, figth, or attempt to annihilate one another, mimicing the unreality through which we transit.

Mandkind does know how to give a rest to his wars, which in redality are but one war without end since the beginning of time. Our minds are in internal conflict and, eager to control us, are in conflict whit our very Selves as well. My paintings reflect the grotesque and the unconscious striving of mankind.

I am the god of my characters. I create them but they cannot see me from their dimension. I am impartial in their quarrels. With a shift of my consciousness I can see that this is what happens in our dimension as well, and this is what I wish to recreate in my work.
